We believe in providing quality education to our learners so they can go out into the world with confidence and leave their own legacy of meaningful contributions

OUR LEGACY

MEPS is a family-run educational institution established in 1996, that caters to learners between the ages of 3 and 18 years of age. We offer a safe and peaceful environment on the outskirts of Polokwane City.

Founded by a local community mother, Betty Kennedy who recognized the importance of educating our youth and fostering a sense of hope that would inspire them to achieve their goals in the world. With the goal of producing learners who are fluent, confident and competent in English, Betty began MEPS by catering to young learners in crèche and primary schools levels. Then later, incorporated a High School to accommodate all students through to Grade 12.

OUR BOARDING HOUSE

MEPS boarding facilities cater for children as young as three years old. All of our boarders, are taught the principles of cleanliness, responsibility, and routine from a young age which helps to build a strong foundation of values and purpose within our students lives. Staying true to our Founding mother Betty Kennedy's vision to educate, inspire and give them hope to achieve their goals in the future.

Pre-School

The Créche (2-3 years), Grade RR (3-4 years) and Grade R (5-6 years) learners are all housed within the pre-school building which is situated adjacent to the Main Building. As a school, we facilitate developmental play at this stage to optimally nurture a child's brain so that they are ready to thrive academically.

Primary School

Grade 1-7 Our primary level begins from age 6 years to 14 years old. Here your child is given daily education together with sporting, arts & culture. At this level our Educators strive to create an academic environment that encourages perseverance and resilience, but at the same time providing a sense of safety and acceptance.

High School

Grade 8-12 Our high school learners begin from age 14 - 18 years and are encouraged to become leaders in their own right. Together with our staff and mentors, we give our students the foundation to become responsible individuals who follow their star.

The National Curriculum of Assessment Policy (CAPS) is a key component of our work to ensure that our students acquire and apply knowledge and skills to their daily learning, ensuring that they are competent and ready to enter the world with confidence after their schooling is complete.

Our first recommendation is to arrange a visit to MEPS to see for yourself what a truly unique educational experience we offer. You can do this by contacting our admin office by telephone or sending us an email to make the necessary arrangements for you to visit.

While you may often identify key elements that you would want for your children's schooling and education, your final decision is often influenced by the true feeling which you'll experience at the school during your visit.

Once there you can ask for the application forms or download the forms on the link provided and email them back to our office. All details are on the application forms.
